Born in Princeton, N.J. to a British father and French mother, Marc spent much of his childhood in Europe, where he began his lifelong love affair with art and architecture, language and light. After earning a degree in fine arts from Kenyon College, he moved to New York and soon landed the coveted first assistant slot to famed photographer Richard Avedon.
Five years later, Marc was more than ready to strike out on his own. Assignments for Town & Country, Oprah Winfrey’s O, People, Self and US Weekly quickly followed. Known for his meticulous art direction, natural connection to clients, and mischievous sense of humor, Marc has established a unique sense of style, which is reflected in all of his images. His expansive portfolio includes portrait, entertainment, reportage and travel photography; his impressive client list claims celebrities, musicians, athletes, media moguls, public figures and our President.
Marc is based in Los Angeles and New York, and works on location throughout the globe. When not traveling, he enjoys spending time at home with his young daughter.
